What is your mission?
My mission isn’t some grand, sweeping destiny etched in the stars. It’s simpler than that, and maybe even more powerful. My mission is to build a life where joy is the melody that hums through every note.
Yeah, I know, it sounds kinda…fluffy, right? But hear me out. Happiness isn’t some fleeting feeling chased with likes and double taps. It’s the warm sunshine that melts away your worries on a perfect summer day, the rhythm of your favorite song that makes your heart dance, the quiet satisfaction of a goal achieved. It’s the little moments, the big milestones, and everything in between, woven together with intention and sprinkled with a generous dose of laughter.
See, for too long, the narrative for Black women has been one of struggle and strength. We’re the pillars, the rocks, the ones who hold it all down. And while that’s true, it can’t be the only truth. We deserve to claim joy as our birthright, to weave it into the fabric of our lives without apology or hesitation.

My mission, then, is to redefine what it means to be happy as a Black woman. It’s about carving out space for my passions, nurturing my spirit, and celebrating my victories, big and small. It’s about unapologetically claiming my joy, even when the world feels like it’s trying to dim my light.

It’s about building a life that sings, a life that makes me want to jump out of bed every morning, a life that whispers, “Girl, you’re doing good.” And maybe, just maybe, by finding my own joy, I can inspire others to do the same. Because when Black women shine, we illuminate not just our own lives, but the world around us.
So, yeah, my mission is happiness. It’s audacious, it’s personal, and it’s mine. And I’m gonna chase it with every ounce of fire in my soul. Join me? Let’s build a world where joy is our anthem and happiness is our revolution.
