What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.
Ugh, those “why” questions. Can we all agree that sometimes the most annoying query in the world is a simple “why?”
Whether it’s a well-meaning friend, a curious coworker, or a nosy relative, there’s something about being asked to justify our choices that really gets under the skin. Like, hello, obviously I did it because I wanted to!

Maybe it’s that underlying feeling of being put on the spot. Suddenly, we have to defend our desires as if they were on trial. Or maybe it’s the subtle suggestion that our actions need some deeper explanation, as if we don’t fully understand our own motivations.
Let’s be real – sometimes we just want to live life on our own terms, free from the burden of explanation. Sure, there are times for honest conversations and open communication, but not every choice needs a thesis statement attached.

So, the next time you feel that “why?” about to poke and prod at you, remember this: You don’t owe anyone a detailed breakdown of your thought process. A cheeky “Because I felt like it” can be all the explanation you need.
