Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.
It turns out, I’m not just named after my uncle, but I’m also named after a city that once held the torch of wisdom, Alexandria of Egypt. Alexandria is the feminine form of Alexander, meaning “defender of men” or “protector of humankind.” Talk about a powerful legacy! But the story doesn’t end there. My namesake city in Egypt was once a beacon of knowledge, housing the legendary Library of Alexandria, one of the greatest repositories of wisdom in the ancient world.

So, what does this all mean for me? It’s a reminder that I carry within me a legacy of strength, resilience, and a thirst for knowledge. It’s a call to embrace my inner defender, to fight for what I believe in, and to use my voice to make a difference in the world.
But it’s also a reminder that my story is still being written. My name is not a fixed definition, but a starting point. I get to choose what kind of defender I want to be, what kind of knowledge I want to pursue, and what kind of impact I want to leave on the world.

This journey of self-discovery is just beginning, and I invite you to join me. Share the stories behind your own names, your hopes, and your dreams. Let’s celebrate the unique power each of us holds within, and together, write our own extraordinary chapters.
